Home educating can bring a vast wave of emotions with it. On any given day, you might experience joy, anxiety, uncertainty, jealousy, confidence, loneliness, or deep compassion—to name just a few.

Within this space, we acknowledge the collective need for community, accompaniment, space, freedom, and understanding. Above all, there is a fundamental need to feel that you, as a person, make complete sense. The list of universal human needs is long, and they all deserve room to be held.

The home education path is rarely straight. It takes a tremendous amount of courage for a family to forge a new road by walking it—especially within a wider culture that doesn’t always understand what home educators value and why.
